The enrichment of our liturgical celebrations is due to the many gifts, skills and dedication of our liturgical ministers. Please do consider to take part in any of the following ministries:
Lay ministers of communion discern their qualifications for this important ministry and are faithful recipient of the Eucharist themselves. you may have met them since they are well known and involved in the everyday life of the parish. They evangelize, offer hospitality, and talk about the parish not only here in St. Anthony during Sunday Liturgies but also beyond the parish campus. They also respond to requests of the sick members of the community who are unable to participate in Mass to receive communion.
If you are interested to join this ministry contact our Permanent Deacon David Cabrera, Jr. at (429-1428).
Proclaimers of the Sunday and weekday scriptures have a ministry to break open the Word of God. Lectors need not be scripture scholars, but they must have an understanding of the readings which they proclaim. Oftentimes, that understanding comes from researching a few chapters of the Bible to see the context, the audience, the time and the place of the original proclamation. Experience with public speaking is a plus when volunteering to become Minister of the Word. Lectors are given workbooks to help in the preparation of the Sunday readings.
Contact the Parish Office (428-5678) if you are interested to join the ministry.

CREATIVE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PREPARE OUR CHURCH FOR THE LITURGICAL SEASONS. Parishioners of all ages are invited to join a new effort – The Seasonal Decoration and Liturgical Symbols Committee. The committee will work with Father Bong to decorate the church for the liturgical seasons. This will involve colors, textures, plants, statues, artwork and other symbols. Members will study the spiritual meaning of each season as the basis for creative expression. We endeavour to make the church facility more conducive to the celebration of liturgies through the diverse, creative, artistic, and traditional resources of our community of faith.
It’s a chance to share your talent and enthusiasm plus grow in your Catholic faith. You’ll be giving glory to God and inspiring fellow parishioners. The committee’s meetings happen in the Memorial Hall. Please watch out for the date if you wish to participate. You don’t have to be an expert, just be willing to share your interest and abilities. Please consider this invitation. If you are interested and add your name and ways to contact you (email and/or phone number).
