On September 3rd we are blessed with a presentation by Fr. Jim McDermott, SJ about Pope Francis. It gave us a glimpse on the current Pontiff in relation to his historical visit to the US. We also took this opportunity not only to know more about the Pope but also gave us some direction as the whole parish kick-off on reading and studying his encyclical “The Joy of Gospel (Evangelii Gaudium)” for the next few weeks. If you would like to view the presentation video please click on the link below.
You may have noticed some Volunteer Agreement Forms on the sign- in table for the Parish Festival this year. This form is a new practice for the Sacramento Diocese to clarify the status of volunteers and employees. We ask that if you participate in a ministry or an event that we have a volunteer form on file. This only needs to be completed once and we will keep it in the office. For your convenience you may submit the form electronically or print a copy and bring it into the office. To submit the form electronically please click here. To print a copy of the form to turn into the office, please click here. Thank you for your part in making our community a welcoming place.
